Journal over Act 4 for Romeo and Juliet

In act four of Romeo and Juilet , Juilet's parents are not villains . But they are not helping Juliet is anyway. They can not really help her because they do not know that Juliet is married to Romeo. But her parents also don't really under stand her. She doesn't want to let them down but she doesn't really want to be unhappy so she's in a constant battle. Her parents are very complex minded.

Romeo and Juliet (act 2, scenes 2-3)

I think that Romeo is right because their families are enemies. They are literally betraying their families and they know that what they are doing is wrong. At this time in the world betrayal meant death. The were doing the unthinkable because not only were they associating, but they were married. Also not even married to the public but in secret. In lines 57-64 Romeo is saying how he knows marring her is wrong but he loves her and is going to do it anyways.

I think that Romeo and Juliet's love is inspiring because it is a true example of love at first sight. When Romeo first saw Juliet he literally dropped everything and focused on her. All throughout scene 2 Romeo and Juliet are talking about how much they love each other and how they wish they could be together forever like they want to.

journal number 2 (Romeo and Juilet)

I think that Mercutio is the foil to Romeo because he is the complete opposite of Mercutio. Mercutio wants to go to the party and he doesn't even have a girl there waiting for him. He just is trying to go to make Romeo happy. Romeo is very sad and doesn't really want to go anywhere. He is also very selfish. He does not really care about other people and how they feel. An example/s of this are in lines 1 to 30 in scene 5.

journal number 1 (Romeo and Juliet)

I think that in scene one,act one of Romeo and Juliet: Romeo comes off as very whiny. He comes in all sad and doubtful. No one can figure out why he is sad until Benvolio asks Romeo what is wrong. Romeo tells him it is because he met a girl who he thinks is the one. Romeo is very sad because he knows he will probably never see this girl again. In lines 154 to 176 I think those lines represent the way Romeo feels. ( this post got deleted the first time I tried to post it )

I wish

If I had the dance to sing a song with any famous person of my choice I'd choose... I don't even know ... I'd probably pick Janis Joplin or Amy Winehouse mostly because I LOVEEEEE their voices! And I have been growing up on their voices and songs . They are both very powerful women. I would love to just spend time with them. They also both died very early in their lives so I could not imagine what they would sound like now.

Spring Break

I agree with that! I totally agree with that because that's what it is for me! I feel like spring is like a pre party for summer. My spring break has always been full of me just hanging out and partying with my friends.(nothing too crazy) I can't even explain I love summer and spring break! It's like everything I restarting. Summer actually to me is like a restart. Spring break is like when I meet new people. Summer is when I hang out with them. Also spring just like the season makes it like everything restarts too because there are plants blossoming and animals are being born. So it's like a restart for the whole world I guess you could say.

Children's TV Show

If I were to make a children's tv show I would make it about a school that had cliches and they all didn't get along but thought out the episodes they would learn how to deal with each other and they all slowly start to become friends, then the school would become just a better place and everyone likes each other.

Today I

Him and I had been best friends since pshh as long as I can remember, and we've always gotten a long. Other than the stupid "you started it " fights. He has ALWAYS been there for me and I loved him like a brother.  Our families had grown on earth other. Both of our families haves always made the little inside joke that we would get married one day but he both just shook our heads and said "me? And him/her? No! Gross!" We did that for YEARS and year and even more years of friendship have rolled by,still close as ever. At this point we were juniors in high school and we were always getting made fun of for ALWAYS being with each other and still nothing dating. We never actually looked at each other that way. It was always one of those brother and sister looks. Never once had we thought of.... Dating... But I did notice that around the end of last year he started looking at me in a way he has never poked at me before and I started noticing all the little things he does. But we never thought much about it. Well, the annual Valentine's Day dance was coming up and we kind of just agreed to go with each other. Their was no formal "asking me out"we just kind of did it. The night of that dance was scary at first.. I was terrified , because for once I cared what he though I looked like that night. It was like I was meeting him for the first time but really I was just waiting for him to come up to my door and walk me out to his jeep. That was the scariest part of the whole night, seeing his reaction to me.  We get to the dance finally after the awkwardest car ride ever! I get ready to open my door but just as soon as I reach for it he has already opened it for me and had his hand held out for me , and at that moment I knew were were in trouble because I swear to this a day I saw Cupid fly by. Ever since that day we have been happier than ever and I guess it all leads up to this day. Today is the day we join hands to promise each other internal love , and I must say every time we joint hands I think back to that day.. The day it all started. :)

Always and Forever

Only If

If I could meet any famous person of my choice I would honestly want to meet David Bowie. David Bowie has been one of my all time favorite people since I was like 6. My favorite movie is The Labyrinth and still is ! I was obsessed with him! Just the way he presents him self I always wanted to feel that confident. David Bowie just simply didn't care what other people thought about him. He did what made him happy! I honestly wish I could just do that :(  I wish I could just not care as much as David Bowie did. He was literally my role model , and when he died I'm not even going to lie ... I cried... It was sad for me but I didn't personally know him so I didn't have that  much of a connection.  That does not change the fact that I think he is one of the greatest men who once lived.❤️

Individualism V.S. Collectism

Individualism is shown in Germany. Garmany practices that individuals need to want to be better than the other. Meaning that they enjoy the matter of attention. They rather fight for the "higher power". Also. They just rather everyone not having the same set standards as everyone else. Collectism is shown in Chiina. China wants everything to be the same so no one really has a chance to over power the others. They want one leader and one person to look up to. They make sure no one is ever singled out. I think the individualism is good because I feel like there always needs to be that "higher power' in everything , because without one is just pure craziness (like in Lord of the Flies) I also think everyone needs to want to work for success and not just be okay with being the same as everyone else. People in my option should want to be at the top , they should want to over rule.
